PC Icon Editor is focused software designed for the creation of Windows icons, Library files, cursors and also for editing and managing them. The user can create Windows icons from digital quality images and photos, and the applications also permits exporting of icons to .bmp files along with the fabulous capability to even determine the transparency color as well.

The software also enables the extraction of Windows icons from within the application files, creation of smooth semi-transparent icons, and features an option to save Icon Library too. The user can create and support Windows cursor, save and load user-defined color palettes and utilize over 11 filtering effects such as Blurring, Rotation, Sharpening, Softening, and alikes of them.

The application totally supports XP and Vista icons, in different icon colors including Monochrome (1 bit), Grayscale (8 bits), 16 Colors (4 bits), 256 Colors (8 bits), XP Alpha Channel (32 bits) as well as True Color (24 bits). It features 12+ drawing tools instruments and supports many icon sizes including the Windows Vista icons. It functions pretty well with Windows 98, ME, NT, 2000, Media Center 2005, XP, 2003, and Vista
